Teimoor Khaledian Returned to the Public Ward in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Teimoor Khaledian, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr Prison, was sent back to ward 10 in Rajai Shahr prison after spending 6 days in solitary confinement
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Teimoor Khaledian, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison Hall 31 of ward 10, on 19th June, on charges of insulting the country’s authorities, due to an order by the manager of Rajai Shahr prison was sent to solitary confinement, the duration that this prisoner, who had recently been transferred to the ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison, should be kept in solitary confinement, was stipulated by the prison manager as “until further notice”, but after 6 days, he was transferred back to his ward.
Timoor Khaledian, who had started a sit-in outside the radio and television building, holding banners in protest against censorship on radio and television, was arrested by the security police on 11th June, and after interrogation and being charged with disturbing public order with unusual movements, a bail of 30 million Tomans was issued for him and he was transferred to Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.
According to a person close to this political prisoner, the court has, so far, refused to accept the bail, because of “lack of affinity”.
Timoor Khaledian, along with three other prisoners of conscience, named Mehdi Fara’hi Shandiz, Ebraham Firoozi and Arash Moghadam, is now kept in ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison with non-political and sometimes dangerous criminals.
