Six Sunni Kurdish prisoners banned from having visitors

HRANA News Agency – Mokhtar Rahimi, Shahram Ahmadi, Kaveh Vaisi, Kaveh Sharifi, Taleb Maleki and Behrouz Shanhnazari, six of Sunni prisoners in ward 350 of Evin prison have been banned from being visited by their families since four months ago.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners who are sentenced to death are banned from being visited while families live in Kurdistan province and there is no chance of telephone contact because the telephone service is cut off in ward 350.

 

Mokhtar Rahimi, Shahram Ahmadi, Kaveh Vaisi, Taleb Maleki and Behrouz Shahnazari who are Sunni prisoners, were arrested by Intelligence office of Kurdistan in 2010 and after several months being interrogated and imprisoned in solitary confinement, have been sentenced to death by Judge Moghayesseh on charge of enmity against God.
