Reza Shahabi returned to the prison

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, the Labors rights activist returned to the Evin prison by the end of his vacation.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi, the Labors rights activist and the member of the board of the Tehran Bus Workers Union was on the health vacation since January 7, 2013.

Reza Shahabi went on a hunger strike since December 15, 2012 to get this vacation.

This labors rights activist was sentenced to one year of prison on the charge of propaganda against the government, 5 years of prison on the charge of acting against the national security, 5 years of prohibition from union activities and paying 70 Million Rials surcharge by the section 15 of the revolutionary court by the Judge Salavati.

His imprisonment sentence has been reduced to 4 years recently.
