A Report About The Latest Status Of Saeed Masouri

HRANA News Agency – After fifteen years of imprisonment of Saeed Masouri, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj, he is yet deprived of having furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeed Masouri has gone often on hunger strike to protest against the illegal actions of prison officials and security forces. He has a history of physical injury and deprivation of medical care in prison as well.
Saeed Masouri imprisoned since January 2001 along with Gholam Hossein Kalbi was charged with contact with the MEK in the city of Dezful. Up to now he has spent his sentence without leave in Ahwaz Intelligence Detention, Evin and Rajai Shahr prisons.
In 2002 he was sentenced to death in Tehran Revolutionary Court, but the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.
Saeed Masouri had spent 14 months in solitary confinement since his arrest in Ahvaz Intelligence Department, and then was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
