Nezam Sadeghi Called His Family from the Intelligence Detention Center

HRANA News Agency – Nezam Sadeghi, labor activist, has contacted his family through a phone call from Sanandaj Intelligence detention.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Wednesday 8th April, Nezam Sadeghi was arrested in Sanandaj, and was transferred to Intelligence office in Sanandaj.

A close relative of Mr. Sadeghi told HARANA’s reporter: “After his relatives and family went in front of the Intelligence office in Sanandaj, during a telephone call, he informed his family that he is held there and asked them to leave and not to stay there.”

This labor activist was arrested on 8th April in the Faizabad square in Sanandaj, when he and his wife were getting on the coach to go to Saghez. Plainclothes agents asked his name when he was entering the coach and in front of his wife and other travelers he was handcuffed.

According to Mr. Sadeghi’s close relatives, he has not been charged yet and the reason of his arrest is not known, also there are some unconfirmed news that Mr. Sadeghi has been transferred to Intelligence office in Kamyaran.

Nezam Sadeghi, siding worker, 30-year-old, is a labor activist and a member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Forming Workers organizations.
