Navid Khanjani is in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – The left foot of Navid Khanjani, the human rights activist and prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, is paralyzed, due to medical negligence of spinal problem.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner of hall 11 of Rajaei Shahr prison, who was suffering from heart, breathing and spinal disease, recently has experienced the left legs paralyzing.
 
An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter: “Left foot of Navid Khanjani is paralyzed and it is proceeding, the spinal problem has developed in prison. Not having the access to specialist physician, concerns his family.”
 
“Navid Khanjani is also suffering from heart (mitral valve prolapse), intestinal and respiratory diseases”. He added.
 
Earlier, Navid Khanjani had been arrested by security forces, in March 2010, and spent near 2 years in prison. Then branch 26 of the revolutionary court sentenced him to 12 years in prison, which was confirmed by appeal court.
 
His charges are “disseminating lies”, “collusion and propaganda by publicizing news, reports and interview with foreign radios and televisions”, “being a member of human right reporters committee” and “founding of deprived from education group.”
