Mohammad Amin Abdullahi on Hunger Strike in Tabas Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Amin Abdullahi, political prisoner in Tabas prison, who is spending his tenth year of imprisonment, has gone on hunger strike to protest against his case condition and the denial of parole.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this Boukani citizen’s parole has been refused, while he has served more than half of his sentence and by the law is eligible for parole.
This prisoner has gone on hunger strike from Tuesday 4th August to protest against this condition and the denial of permission for leave.
He has been practically deprived of any visit with his family, because of being exiled to Tabas, where is extremely far away from his city.
Mohammad Amin Abdullahi from Boukan, was arrested in autumn 2005 and after 15 months of uncertainty was tried in Mahabad Revolutionary Court on charges of combat through effective collaboration with armed Kurdish parties and also propaganda against the regime and was sentenced to a total of 18 years imprisonment and exile to Tabas. After being held in the prisons of Ormia and Mahabad for a while, he was sent to Tabas prison and he is currently serving the tenth year of his imprisonment in that prison.
