A Kurdish Civilian Killed by Border Guards

HRANA News Agency – Azad Etmani, Kurdish civilian from Deshowan village of Salmas, was killed by border guards’ direct firing.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Monday 22nd December, Azad Etmani, 30, from Deshowan village of Salmas, was shot and killed at the border zone with Turkey.
An informed source in this regard told HRANA’s reporter: “Border Guards carelessly and deliberately shoot people and thereby annually, hundreds of frontier citizens, Kolbaran (carriers), and their beasts are killed and injured.”
Attack to Kolbaran and frontier civilians, who are living in some of the poorest areas of Iran, is use of lethal violence against people who have been forced by their economic circumstances to this type of businesses.
