A Christian Convert Released after Serving his Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA New Agency – Rasool Abdullahi, new Christian Convert, was released from Rajai Shahr Prison, in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Rasool Abdullahi, Christian convert, who was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment on charge of “gathering and collusion and propagating Christianity” was released from ward 10 of Rajai Shar prison, in Karaj under the parole rule.

Rasool Abdullahi was arrested in winter 2010 by security forces, along with a number of other Christian Converts.

In March 2010, he was temporarily released from prison and finally the Islamic Revolution Court sentenced him to 3 years imprisonment on charges of “gathering and Evangelism”.

Mr Abdullahi was transferred to Evin prison on 2nd December 2013 for serving his sentence.
