Amin Anvari Summoned to the Court again

HRANA News Agency – Amin Anvari has been summoned to the court again and has to go to branch 26 of the revolutionary court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amin Anvari Rostami who had been recently summoned by branch 26 of the revolutionary court with chief judge Ahmadzadeh has been sentenced to 30 months in prison, has been again summoned to the court by a phone call made on Wednesday June 28.

The court session of this civil rights activist was carried out recently in which he was charged with propaganda against the regime, insulting the supreme leader and insulting officials (Mesbah Yazdi) in Facebook, and was sentenced to two years and 6 months in prison which is suspended for 5 years.

Amin Anvar Rostami, 21, software engineering student of Amir Kabir University, was arrested on December 30, 2014, by the order of branch number 13 of Evin court, and released after interrogation on 30 million Tomans bail. This is while he was summoned to the court for “administrative formalities”.

According to a close source to him, “propaganda against the regime, insulting the supreme leader and officials in Facebook, supporting LGBTs and apostates like Shahin Najafi and supporting Bahais” are the charges that have been laid on this young student.
