Amin Anvari Deprived Of Prison Visits

HRANA News Agency – The mother of Amin Anvari, civil rights activist and student of Amir Kabir University, has been deprived of having visit with her child because of her attendance on civil protests.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), she announced that the court has deprived her of visiting her child, because of her attendance in civil protests.

She also told HRANA’s reporter that on the last call with her son, he has just mentioned that he was Ok and he was told not to talk about the location which he was being kept.

Need to be mentioned, there are speculations that he might be kept in ward 2-A in Evin prison.

Mother of Amin Anvari stated that “I want the unconditional freedom of my son” and said, “I will do whatever it takes for releasing my son”.

Amin Anvari Rostami, civil right activist and student of Amir Kabir University, has been arrested by a court order warrant issued by branch number 2 of Evin court on October 4. This incident was along with house investigation and seizure of some of his personal accessories.

Amin Anvari was summoned to the court one day before the arrest.

Besides, this civil rights activist was summoned to the revolutionary court after the plea of the court and announcement of the verdict by branch 26 of the revolutionary court, in August.

The court session of this civil right activist was held recently on branch 26 of the revolutionary court and he was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison on charge of propaganda against the regime, insulting the supreme leader and official authorities (Mesbah Yazdi), which is suspended for 5 years.

Amin Anvari Rostami, 21, student of the 5th semester of computer software engineering of Amir Kabir University, was arrested on December 30, 2014, by the security police and by the order of branch number 13 of Evin court. After interrogations he was released on 30 million Tomans bail, while he was called on the phone, for an “administrative work”.

According to a close source, propaganda against the regime, insulting officials, official support of LGBTs and apostates like Shahin Najafi and support of Bahia community, are a part of the charges that this young student has faced.
