Alleged beating of an Afghan- national at Zahedan Central Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ismaeel Hosseini, an Afghan –National has been tortured and allegedly beaten by prison guards at Zahedan Central Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, Ismaeel Hosseini who is jailed for Narcotic possession and trafficking at Zahedan Central Prison was transferred to solitary confinement in the quarantine section. He resisted the prison guards when they attempted to disrespectfully probe him and was beaten and forced to lay naked on the ground for 4 hours.
A well informed source told HRANA reporter: “…The prison guards asked Ismaeel Hosseini to take off his trousers to be searched which he resisted to. The guards then transferred him to solitary confinement and after putting him in hand cuffs and foot cuffs, severely beaten him and forced him to lay down on the hot asphalt for 4 hours.
He continued: “Ismaeel Hosseini spent 4.5 hours in that situation under the sun and one of the guards walked on his back at times; he has suffered from severe burns on his stomach.  This prisoner was kept for 15 days in solitary confinement at quarantine section at Zahedan Central Prison. He was refused medical treatments after he transferred back to his cell.”
