3 Kurdish political prisoners in critical health condition in Mahabad

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Faghih and Jamal Ghadernejad two political prisoners from Mahabad, are deprived of proper treatment despite physical deterioration.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mostafa Faghih, 53, political prisoner in Mahabad prison, faces severe diabetes. However, prison’s doctor agrees with his medical leave but prison officials and the judiciary do not agree with this important issue.
Also, Jamal Ghadernejad, 38, political prisoner in Mahabad prison who suffers from severe back pain and lumbar disc is facing with prison officials objection.
An informed source who requested anonymity told HRANA’s reporter: “Jamal Ghadernejad has been suffering from back pain and lumbar disc due to torture in intelligence office and even sometimes he is not able to carry out his personal affairs.”
This informed source, also said: “Omar Pirnia who is in Mahabad prison with spying accusation also suffers from a disease. He is married and he has a 5 years old son. He is financially weak and his wife is not able to look after their son. Considering his condition, however prison officials rejected his medical leave request. He is from Piranshahr and he gave prison officials an ultimatum that he will go on hunger strike”.
